Digital X-Rays

Digital x-rays use digital sensors as opposed to traditional x-ray photographic film. They create highly detailed computer images of your teeth and gums, as well as your other oral structures. They also allow your dentist to examine parts of your mouth that aren't visible the the naked eye. 

Cone Beam Cat Scan

Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a special type of x-ray machine that generates 3D images of dental structures, soft tissues, nerve paths and bone in the craniofacial region in a single scan. Images obtained with CBCT allow for more precise treatment planning, including analyzing your airway for snoring and sleep apnea treatment. 

Dental Lasers

In dentistry, lasers can be used in a variety of soft and hard tissue procedures. They allow our dentists to perform procedures with less pain and fewer interventions. At Santé dentaire Richard Bélanger, our dentists use lasers to remove overgrown or decayed tissue, reshape the gums, harden dental restorations, or whiten teeth.

Oral Cancer Screening Device

Oral cancer screening devices allow our dentists to identify abnormalities and diseases in the mouth, such as cancerous and pre-cancerous lesions. Using fluorescence visualisation technology, it can be performed in your dentist’s office during routine exams and under normal lighting conditions in about two minutes.
